Scope
These terms apply to every booking made with Desert Araouane, trading as Desert Araouane, through https://www.desertaraouane.com, by email, phone or messaging. By booking you accept them. Terms specific to your trip, stated in your quote or confirmation, take precedence.
Our services
We organize guided tours in Morocco and neighbouring countries, including transport, accommodation and local guides as described in your itinerary. Itineraries on the website are indicative. Timings, routes and accommodation may be adjusted for weather, road conditions, safety or availability, with an equivalent alternative whenever possible.
Booking and confirmation
A request sent through the website is not a booking. We reply with an itinerary and price. The booking is confirmed when you accept the quote and pay the deposit of 30% of the total price; we then send a written confirmation.
Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in the currency shown in your quote and include the services listed in it. Anything not listed is not included. The balance is due on the date stated in your confirmation. See Payment & Security for how to pay safely.
Promotions and price match
Promotional offers, such as summer discounts, apply to the dates, tours and conditions stated with the offer, depend on availability and cannot be combined unless stated.
Best price guarantee: if you find an identical tour (same itinerary, services and dates) offered by another operator at a lower price, tell us within 48 hours of your order confirmation with proof, and we will match the price after verifying it.
Your responsibilities
- Hold a passport valid for the trip and any visa or health documents required. Entry rules are your responsibility.
- Take out travel insurance covering medical costs, repatriation and cancellation. We strongly recommend it.
- Give us accurate information about health conditions or needs that may affect the trip.
- Follow the instructions of guides and respect local customs and the environment.
Changes and cancellation
Changes and cancellations by you or by us are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Risks and liability
Desert and mountain travel, camel rides and off-road driving involve inherent risks. We choose our partners with care and will do all that is reasonably expected of a diligent operator. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price paid for the affected service, and we are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure), such as extreme weather, natural events, strikes, border closures, epidemics or government decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, tell your guide or call us straight away so we can fix it on the spot. You may also write to [email protected] within 30 days after your trip.
Intellectual property
The texts, images, logos and design of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce them without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. The courts of [TO COMPLETE: competent court city], Morocco, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that consumers may have in their country of residence.
