Tour di 4 giorni: Ouarzazate – Zagora – Merzouga – Valle del Dadès

Programma giorno per giorno

1. Giorno 1 — Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora

   Morocco tour starts after breakfast. Departure for Agdez via the Anti-Atlas (at an altitude of 1660m) then continuation towards Zagora along the Draa valley with its procession of palm trees while passing by many typical Berber villages. Arrival in Zagora (lunch on the spot). In the afternoon, visit an old Koranic library, the pottery craftsmen and dunes of Tinfou to see the sunset. Return to Zagora. Dinner and night in the hotel.

2. Giorno 2 — Zagora – Mharech

   After breakfast, go on with the excursion taking the road of the Paris-Dakar towards Mharech going through the col of Tizi-N-Tifilalet, the hamadas and the desert plateau which runs alongside the Algerian border. Dinner and night in a simple but acceptable inn.

3. Giorno 3 — Mharech – Ramlia – Ouzina – Taouz – Khamlia – Merzouga

   After breakfast, departure to cross the sandy Oued Ghris, going past the villages lost in the desert of Ramlia and Ouzina (lunch on the track). Then, departure for Taouz (rock engravings), cross and stop in the village of the Gnaoua. Followed by the road to the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, change 4x4 for dromedaries to admire the sunset and spend the night among the dunes. Dinner and night in bivouac under canvas.

4. Giorno 4

   Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Tinjdad - Tighir - Toudra gorges - Boumalne - Kelaa M'Gouna - Skoura -Ouarzazate. Wake-up early in the morning to see the sunrise on the dunes, return on dromedary at the foot of the dunes. After breakfast, go on with Morocco tour. Departure for the huge palm grove of Tafilalet going through the city of Rissani (former capital of the Alaouites sultans and the big souk of the south) and the city of Erfoud to take the road towards the Gorges of Todra (lunch on the spot) via the palm grove of Tinjdad and Tinghir. In the afternoon, road to Bouamalne, Kelaa M'Gouna and Skoura (visit of the kasbah of Amredhyle) Road to Ouarzazate and end of the trip.
