3 days Tour of Dakhla- White Dune- Imlili & Puerto Rico

DAY 1: The White Dune
Itinerary: La Dune Blanche / Aasna Source / Oyster Farm / Ostrich Breeding La Dune Blanche is a very large sand dune of immaculate whiteness about 40 km from the city of Dakhla. It plunges beautifully into the lagoon, forming a small lagoon in its center. Climb to the top and enjoy the magic of the panorama. This is where many migratory birds, flamingos, sea eagles, etc. nest.

Beginning of the journey in the morning towards the Dune Blanche. Lunch on the beach (Barbecue), then preparation of a traditional Saharawi tea. Then, depart for the sulfurous hot spring of Aasna to enjoy a healing and relaxing shower. After the shower, departure for the oyster farm to taste the delicacies of the sea (to be paid on-site). Return to DAKHLA and visit the ostrich farm in TAWARTA. Back to town.

DAY 2: Imlili & Puerto Rico
Start of the trip in the morning to Imlili.

Sebkhet Imlili is a very rare wetland in Africa, located about forty kilometers south of El Argoub with nearly 160 partly salty permanent water holes where a protected species of fish lives (Guinea Tilapia Tilapia guineensis)fish of tropical origin A unique fauna and flora make this area a natural space to be protected.

The site itself with the water holes is worth a visit to discover the plant varieties that grow there. You will be able to observe the small fish that rise to the surface (it is
forbidden to feed them or dip your feet in them to preserve their natural environment). Barbecue lunch and traditional tea on site.

Then departure for the beach of Puerto Rico, a magnificent white sand beach surrounded by dunes, where you can swim in turquoise waters, sheltered from the currents and the wind. A guard tower, a vestige of the Portuguese occupation, dominates the bay. Unforgettable moments of bathing and idleness on this beach.

Back to Dakhla and the hotel, on the road, we can stop where the nomadic families let their camels graze and sell the milk of the camels.

DAY 3: The City of Dakhla Points of interest:

Point Kilometric 25, the lighthouse, the fishing village LA SARGA, and visit the Souks We start the morning by exploring the PK 25, one of the most beautiful places on the lagoon and one of the best spots for the practice of kiting. Return to DAKHLA on the edge of the Atlantic to visit the lighthouse and then the fishing village with the return of all the small colorful boats from their day of offshore fishing.
Visit the souks at nightfall, a place very lively with local people with traditional markets (shopping).
